Why use H2NOZE in my nasal rinse device?
According to the FDA, These nasal rinse devices — which include neti pots, bulb syringes, squeeze bottles, and battery-operated pulsed water devices — are usually safe and effective products when used and cleaned properly, says Eric A. Mann, MD, Ph.D., a doctor at FDA.
Why isn’t tap water safe for use as a nasal rinse?
Because it’s not adequately filtered or treated. Some tap water contains low levels of organisms — such as bacteria and protozoa, including amoebas — that may be safe to swallow because stomach acid kills them. But in your nose, these organisms can stay alive in nasal passages and cause potentially serious infections. They can even be fatal in some rare cases, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
WHY USE H2NOZE?
Premium distilled water is only sterile prior to opening. Once a consumer opens the package it becomes exposed to
contaminants such as mold spores, bacteria and viruses. The average distilled water user will take an average of 2 weeks to use a gallon of water. At that point, you have risked exposing your equipment, and most importantly yourself, to bacteria and viruses.
lf you purchase a gallon of distilled water, a majority of the water will be wasted before it can be safely used. At H2Noze, we are striving to create a greener and less wasteful product.
Not only is it inconvenient store a large gallon jug of water, it is actually impossible to pass through security when flying. Fortunately, H2Noze is deemed medically necessary. This means H2Noze is TSA approved and will pass through security at all airports when accompanied by medical equipment!
